Yesterday over 1 million Xbox Live gamers were banned for using mod chips and extra hard drives to get pirated games. My whole thing is, some players use mod chips to play copied games that are backed up so the original disks don't get destroyed, so what's the big deal?

i think there is a legal standard to what point they can sue you for software modifications... its in % i think it has to be 80% modified in order to be not included in such laws... so take win 7 change the code so 80+% is yours or severely modified and they cant go after you i forget the % tho...

Wii + Softmod = FTW Really though, some of the Wii Modchips are intense, like the one (Wiikey?) that you can stream ISOs from your PC to your Wii and it emulates a disk drive, and makes it think it is the disk drive, thus it seems to be without modification.
