answered my own question...
Media Player Classic options -> Player -> Formats -> click on the word "DirectShow" behind "Audio File (WAV)" and change it to QuickTime.

I cant stand winamp anymore...it takes so long to load files and it hog alot of memory...i love MPC for the fact of its quickness and usage of memory. However i can seem to play 24 bit wav files...any idea how to enable? they wont fine on winamp.

Or you can go to the sound recorder and change it to any bit you want Also you can d/l dbpower AMP music converter (free) and change it there to MP-3 or whatever
