are not immigrants. Their work is seasonal and they go back to Mexico when the weather changes. Before the border was "closed" most seasonal workers went "home" until spring. Now they are forced to stay because they don't want to take the chance of not getting back in. My point is they didn't want to "immigrate" they wanted to come here to work, send some money home to support their families, and go...

He had one of the weaker followings amongst conservative kooks. On the illegal immigrant thing I do agree with the premise. There is nothing wrong with limitations on immigration and requiring people that live here to live above the radar. In fact in the age of post 9/11 we MUST have secure borders. If we are ever going to treat terrorism as a police matter, rather than fighting broad wars, then border security will be in have to be in place....
