I sort of dug them when I was in high school. I remember it was a fad to wear an a.f.i shirt with the cat, even before they became super-mainstream..so I kind of got turned off...they were aight.
Sing The Sorrow is when they took a turn for the worse, in my opinion.

I'd have to agree with you, I don't feel like I am dismissing them but due to the fact that in the type of music they play vocals are always prevelent, and at times it can be hard to get past singer's who you think have annoying voices. I don't have any other reason to dislike The Hives rather than me just purely not liking the band and I felt as if I needed a reason when I previously posted that. And I wasn't trying...
