what program are you using to backup with? Is it a Maxtor program or a different third party application?

When I run my back up for the Maxtoronetouch 4 Plus I keep getting an error message which states:
Back up has been completed but with errors To: 2HAA70WG (F)
and the system says that the back up failed

Please forgive my ignorance as I attempt to answer a seemingly simple question, I am not very computer/tech literate
I have an HP laptop computer and run on Windows XP and I have a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus external hard drive system
