I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Our friend Maurice passed away last week in Paris, the city he loved most. Paris sera plus jamais comme avant. C'est toi qui la manque.

That's very sad news, except that he passed away in Paris and not in Flint. We should all be grateful for that on his behalf. Still. What an enormous loss, not only to us, but to the whole damned world. Godspeed, my friend.
