Thread: Manual back glass replaced with electric? Also adding power windows?

Started 2 months, 1 week ago by 4x4fanatic2006
Is this a plug and play kind of deal where I can just run the wiring after it's installed, or will the truck have to be modified a lot? Also, will I be better off buying a power window kit or would it be better to buy the regulators from a wreck yard and run the wires myself? Register today or sign-in to remove these ads! ...

the harness is already there in my 04, just need the switch and motor/wiring end. There is a write up on here about converting the manual to electric. I think that you just need the motor (and its related items) and overhead switch. Can use the glass that's already there. I plan to do this but haven't found a junkyard donor yet

for your back window look here $50 Manual to Power Slider Conversion Using Original Glass 2004-08 for your door windows, you will need new regulators, wiring and switches
