Does that tell the Gay activist anything? Even the most liberal states and cities reject Gay marriage. Why can't they go for civil unions and the same rights? Will that now stop that anti-Prop 8 lawsuit as it appears they will lose?

Admit it, you know that's what going to happen. Happens everytime, some group stonewalls on something but eventually they fade away. Independence, Slavery, Women's rights, Segregation. In a culture clash the younger group always outlasts the older one.

It totally means that. If that were the case, you already have equal protection under the law as far as marriage is concerned.
Religious expression is a group behavior. Let's remove those rights, if you truly believe what you say. Get Real wrote: <quoted text> I've always understood. Marriage is not a basic human right, and a groups behaavior does not always warrant civil rights.

At least you're starting to understand the entire reason we have a constitution in the first place- basic human rights exist that are not subject to the whims of what society currently approves or disapproves of. That's been our point all along; the...

Get Real wrote: <quoted text> Any time anyone disagrees with gay marriage they are either a bigot or stupid, your entire standard for peoples intelligence is that they must agree with you. Let me ask something, is it possible for anyone to not support gay marriage and be more intelligent, informed, and worldly then you. No, because true wisdom tells a person that they DON'T know it all and that what they know applies only...

OK, I tried, but it is obvious that you are an uneducated idiot that knows nothing about this topic outside of what you are told to cut and paste. Dismissed.
Wow, how did I miss this one earlier? I'm not surprised you're bigotry and hatred isn't limited to just gay people. Get it all out honey, who else do you hate? Get That Fool wrote: <quoted text> Or, if slaves were never brought over from Africa.

What I said still applies.
