I've been a member of MSN Premium for some time now. I've successfully
downloaded the provided software on from the Member Center (McAfee Virus
Scan, McAfee Firewall, McAfee Site Advisor and Webroot SpySweeper). I've
completed this a number of times successfully.
A few weeks ago, I reformatted the hard drive on my PC. No big ...
When you try to install the McAfee software, what exactly happens? I
believe that you have to use the email of the primary MSN account holder
when you install it. Perhaps you are just giving McAfee the wrong email
address?
Personally, I have a secondary account that I use for most of my
ordinary email, and sometimes forget that...

Ditto, I just went through a recovery of my computer and when I tried to
reinstall McAfee Virus Scan, it wouldn't install. All the others (McAfee
Firewall, McAfee Site Advisor and Webroot SpySweeper)all loaded ok but not

Believe it or not, the issue was a virus was already present and was
preventing installation. I downloaded the trial ware from AVG
(www.grisoft.com) and it removed the virus. Thereafter, I had no difficulty
installing the software.
Of note, I provided McAfee all of my email accounts ... including the
primary. All were "not...

If you you have a McAfee account just sign in and this pops up and download
it. I've had no problems unless they are expired but you can always renew.

Believe it or not, the issue was a virus was already present and was preventing installation. I downloaded the trial ware from AVG (www.grisoft.com) and it removed the virus. Thereafter, I had no difficulty installing the software. Of note, I provided McAfee all of my email accounts ... including the primary. All were "not found" in their database. Makes me wonder how the relationship with MSN Premium works with...

If you you have a McAfee account just sign in and this pops up and download it. I've had no problems unless they are expired but you can always renew.
