Thread: MLS Cup: Limited Tickets for Supporters

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by bunge
So I was just notified that MLS only requires the hosting city to hold 200 seats for supporters of the teams in the cup. I thought it was important to get that out there, especially since a West Coast team might make it. If LA, Houston, Chicago and RSL supporters are planning on going, your numbers might be artificially limited. I would suggest you speak with your team's FO and ...

Of course, there's a difference between "MLS requires" and "SSFC are holding back," right? On a more positive note, there ought to be plenty of tickets available on the secondary market.

I wouldn't put it past them to put the two supporter groups right next to each other. What could possibly go wrong?

As long as you're wearing rave green, I'm sure you'll come out just fine.

Bah, why worry about 10 people in a crowd of 36k? What could possibly go wrong?

What's the stadium capacity going to be for MLS CUP? Is it going to be 36,000 capacity or are they going to open up the whole stadium. Does anybody know where the supporters sections are going to be. @import "http://diacache.daylife.com/_static/release-46080 /v2/css/daylife/thickbox.css";

That is the question of the day. I have heard a lot of different things myself from fully open (only if the Sounders had made it) to not even opening the upper decks at all, which I find extremely unlikely as I already have tickets in the 300 level. The most likely I heard was opening the rest of the 300 level section by section according to demand. My tickets are in the ring they ...

I have got to side with MLS on this issue. I'm all for Supporters Groups eventhough I'm not in one. However, it seems they are looking for preferential treatment.
