Thread: MEXICO ?

I don`t know, but they are looking good. I think with  some more skills in the offense and some hardening up on the defense, they could win the World Cup. I believe the way they are going now, if they were to play U.S. they would give them about 10 - 0 love and that`s without Blanco theatrics. Who else sees this ?

Hey baller, do you think Blanco could shoot a hole through Ochoa, or maybe take one of his arms off?  Do you think he should ?

As a Mexican fan i have to said that we have an interestring generation of young players like Ochoa, Giovanni and Jonathan Dos Santos, Efrain Juarez, Andres Guardado, Hector Moreno, Edgar Pacheco, Javier Hernandez that could make a descent presentation in Brasil 2014  with a Semifinal tops But i have not any hope of reaching the semifinals in this World Cup,  unless we have an  easy group, a ...

I think I may agree. I mean, honestly...the way Gio has been playing has been remarkable. He cant get any games in Tottenham for whatever reason but still returns and has had consistently (over the last few months) dominant performances. Wenger, who is the best manager and developer of young talent, obviously sees something in vela (as do I). If there is one thing we have learned in previous WCs ...

Sanchez was a legend, what he did in Real Madrid was impressive, I'm proud that such a player was born in Mexico, but he never show that talent with Mexico National team, if we compare what Cuah and Sanchez acomplish with the Mexico shirt Cuah is practically superior The same with Marquez, 2 times Champions League winner, a great number of titles with Barcelona and Monaco, sometimes he was named the best Defender in Spain and France,...

Blancoman, there`s your Academy award winner striker. He`ll do it all, dive, roll, play dead, dribble, hop and ball skip, toe, heel, jump, kick and shoot. You name it, Blancoman,  Spanish Baller of the Year, he`s Mexico`s New Famous World Striker.

Arg.  We part ways here.  Borgetti might be my least favorite player of all time.  And I think Mexico always played better without him.       Its a matter of opinion of course, they say it wasn't even Hermosillo Sanchez Borguetti or Hernandez the best Striker of Mexico, some said Borja and Negrete were pure class, but i wasn't even born when they scored in the world cup The thing is that Mexico is having an incredible...

I kinda like that uniform... but believe me anything is better than this... http://www.pambolero.com/images/productos/b/mex98_gr.jpg When you can't beat you opponet you can always scare the crap out of him!     Those are my favorite. I grew up watching Mexico playing in those back in the glory days with Luis Hernandez at the helm. Luis Hernandez is still my favorite player of all time.   Second best striker off Mexico's national...

Mexico has looked very good it is true.......but our results have been better.  GREAT POINT.  So at this stage in the WC developmental process would you prefer results or to be playing attractive tactically competent soccer?     I'll take false choices for 200 Alex.

weren't those mexico's '98 jerseys? IIRC, almost every teams jerseys in the finals were pretty bad that year. Regardless, I hope tUSMNT jerseys are much better than mexico's for the 2010 WC.

Mexico almost always has talent.  Now is no exception and they have some great potential.  I just don't think they are consistent enough.  On their day, they often can give the best teams in the world some trouble, but they still have too many off days as a team to be a contender.  Gio is very talented, but doesn't make the players around him better.  His is typically individual brilliance.  I think the same of Castillo and my...
