First off, this is going extreme intake, not K&N insert and i am afraid to touch anything else because its a Mercedes and its expensive!!!! This attempt is made with years of experience in this field. Parts altered are cheap to obtain used and replace in case you need them too. Again this isnt a sissy mod, beginners beware lol!
Well, after 2 hours of measuring, ...
Material was ordered from internet from various stores. Before any job is performed, you take a look at it what you need, measure it , and then you shop around
So you now have no cabin air filtration, excess unburned vaporized fuel and any battery gasses entering the cabin, cabin air/climate being sucked into the engine, and a sub standard battery. What are you thinking?
he's thinking mods. lol! good job on the ram air. but i dont think you'll be getting much cold air for your intake at that spot. also like mleskovar said no more cabin filter.. you'll get dizzy allot when the a/c is on.. cheers! still a good looking DIY!
EDIT: bro just thouht about it. make a strait pipe going to the right headlight! lol! remove the headlight and make a housing there for the ...

Oh, i wanted to update this for negroC230 He had dropped by a few weeks ago, and I have heard+seen his intake. It's legit. it's loud, and is useful, the car seems very quick, for a V6 C230. one suggestion is that, I'd suggest him using a larger cone filter, that cone filter is quite small.

yeah at the top.. at the same time theres still not too many air coming from there.. those fins serve as an escape for the heat coming from the engine compartment.. not going into the compartment.. well.. looks good man. by the way no ones attacking you here so take a chill pill.. lol.
While that photo is hilarious, no doubt.. still, in all seriousness - this forum and its members can be quite the asset to someone new to the W203. There are tons of helpful members and thousands of posts covering virtually every topic related to the long-out-of-production W203. We don't make stuff up randomly. __________________ Matt 82 Miles/Day 26 Miles/Gallon 30,000 Miles/Year 0 Regrets/Ever

Now the new members are coming in here and insulting long time or highly respected members such as Glyn and lilbenz230. Guess it shows you what happens when cars get cheaper so that anyone can buy them. i guess not everyone was raised with manners and to respect others. and if you wanted a fast...
