Thread: M11 to have fewer renamed 'new' cards than M10, and other tidbits!
Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by hamtastic
I spent some time with Erik Lauer last week (the lead designer on M10) and he informed me that M11 will have less renamed 'new' cards than M10 did. Full interiew is here:

I don't have the source on me, but in one of the articles, one of the writers stated that they felt bad about how they had hyped up the 50% new, and had so many functional reprints. They also said that they would be more accurate in describing quantities of new cards, matching what you said
The article is probably filled with inaccuracies/grammar problems because it was an audio interview that was transcribed onto paper; it was done quickly, and those are hard to do (my girlfriend does these transcriptions, but also translates from Spanish to English). Making the transcription that accurate would be very time consuming.
All in all the information is great, although I don't care ...
Hopefully this doesn't mean M11 will reprint a bunch of cards from M11.
Canyon Minotaur alone made me quite mad. Why did they print this when Alara has it?

If red could kill BSA as efficiently as Black, everyone would just play RDW.
