She had support in place. And I think that her support failed her. I guess she doesn't plan on napping. I hope all goes well with the delivery. I think what makes this really intoxicating for me is not only the positive excitement about what is to come, but also the accents they all have. Part of my family lives out there and it feels like I'm talking to them!

*hugs* Maybe it'll help other women that do want a natural intervention-free birth. It'll show them what can happen and they can form their own opinions and make their own decisions about what's best for them and their babies.

I think the Doula is really paranoid about being on camera. She keeps talking about it.

When I watched it it didn't look like she had an epidural to me. She could move her own legs and everything, I know I couldn't AT ALL...I dunno:shrug:

I've heard of a "walking epidural". Maybe that's what she had?

That would depress me too. I hope that doesn't happen to me. However, I think I have a great shot at getting the birth I am yearning for, because I am going to be giving birth at a birthing center, and not a hospital. So I truly have my fingers crossed. I missed this. Did she have a boy or a girl? And is the baby ok?
