Thread: Low Adsense CTR = Ban?

Started 2 months ago by JABacchetta
I have a site that has a very low CTR with adsense (about half a percent). I've heard that this can get you banned from adsense. Is that true? Should I remove adsense from the site for this reason?

I doubt you'll get banned. However, it seems to imply Adsense isn't suited for your site. Maybe you should try a CPM network + intext link network instead.

There is no CTR minimum or maximum, you can leave the ads there.

Not true. Adsense wouldnt ban the account due to high or low CTR but mostly on the content and the quality of click

It might effect the type of ads shown. Not sure you'd get banned for this.

I think it's normal CTR if you have a certain type of website like a forum with several impressions for each user, obviously you will not be banned from adsense, a low ctr ensures that you are not cheating Adsense.
