Once again it's back to the "Cousin Brucie can do no wrong" category. If Lou had been doing these specials on his own on XM prior to the merger they wouldn't happen now. But since Brucie got him started it's bound to be a sure winner. Don't get me wrong... I'm totally looking forward to this. I just hate how with this company it's all about the celebrity status making for good ...

I still remember the Gene Pitney special on XM 60s on 6. Quality program. "Specials" seem so out-of-place in the Time-Life, Sickius-error. (er, era).

Lou's show will air right before Cousin Brucie on Saturday and right after the Cuz on Sunday. That's this weekend 11/14 & 11/15...be sure to ...

I am listening to Lou Christie's show at the moment. Off to a great start. Darlene Love and Barbara Lewis. Lou is promising to play songs you don't normally hear. Works for me.

Very strange. Lou Christie introduces a Ronettes song and then is gone. Not at top of the hour but about 10:52 Eastern. Must have been a taped show that didn't take the entire hour. Very unprofessional, however.

Good show. It didn't take up the full hour, much like his summer special that aired Labor Day weekend. Shows like this remind me of how good the 60s used to be,when we had wide playlists, specialty shows and an unpredictable air about it. We hear shows like Brucies that play lesser known songs and Bruce even says how nice it is to play songs that aren't played all the time. Its too bad the...

It didn't take the full hour huh? 52 minutes or so? Gee, what does THAT leave room for down the road perhaps? That certainly fits the theory that SiriusXM will eventually make a few channels "free" for all radios, but with "limited" commercials. I wouldn't be surprised if that's a move they're at least giving some consideration to. Has Mel ever been asked that question in a ...
