Thread: Lots of success so far using Reg parks 5x5

Been stalled out using Max-OT and then PRRS as far as strength and size gains went so I looked for a good program for more frequency on the compound lifts as im bulking 5 weeks into it I have gained 5.8 lbs Bench has gone up 25 lbs Bent over row up 20 lbs Weighted pullups up 10 lbs Noticed my cardio has gone to **** tho and I have to buy new jeans already as i wear them fitted and they...

I'm thinking of doing either SPBR, or one of the Reg Parks routines after I finish SS. Anyone here who have tried both? The routine looks great, obviously, with a bit more isolation work than SS as well. But it does look intense! Barbell Bent over Row 5x5 Deadlift 3x5 Ah, that must be hell when the sets are getting heavy as ****!

Do your muscles have enough time for rest/recovery? For instance, you are doing squats in Workout A and front squats in Workout B -- you are basically doing legs each workout day. I did heavy squats (for me) a few days ago and still have some DOMS.

ok, thanks. Clearly, the volume is lower than if you did a full leg day with multiple different exercises, so it makes sense.

ok, thanks. Clearly, the volume is lower than if you did a full leg day with multiple different exercises, so it makes sense.
