Thread: Loss of Routing - does it affect all LLU operators? :: Technical Issues :: think broadband

as we all know, O2/Be still havnt been able to resolve the issue reguarding the loss of routing, ie cant get response from anything until, interface is either "applyed" "ucast_solicit=0" or "shut no shut" of the dsl interface, or alternatively try pinging anything in your WAN subnet what i was wondering are all operators effected by this, ie BT with there new 20meg service, sky, ...

this is a BE/O2 specific problem, obviously the way they have configured their equipment. also I am not sure if your problem is the same thing, I dont think the problem causes a loss of synch, but someone on BE/O2 can help you better than me. Edited by Chrysalis (Tue 03-Nov-09 19:14:20)

you mean you had a problem with similiar symptons that noone else has publicly reported. Unless you can confirm the BE/O2 fix fixed your exact problem you cannot logically assume sky have the same issues. This specific problem is a O2/BE problem with the way they talk to end user equipment. Dont mislead the OP just so you can have another argument. Now obviously 'any' isp ...
