I'd try out Canon G11, S90, and Panasonic LX3 before hasting to purchase your desired P&S camera. These 3 cameras provide outstanding pictures quality, low noise level under the dim light circumstance. Shot some pictures and view them for more details. Good luck.

So I was planning to buy a point and shoot camera for under $300 and after doing strenuous research, I've settled on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 because of its great picture quality and its ability to record videos in HD. Does anyone have any better suggestions or any qualms with the Lumix?
