uhm, did u switch to windowed mode? (windows mode uses software rendering, not the gfx card)

Well, I am a little lost. Laptop problem.
The last two weeks I changed some settings on my nvdia card. Its a builtin card into the laptop, and no overclocked was ever performed. Just the standard bits that come with nvidia's driver. I had 80-90 FPS at all time everywhere in NC. It was bliss: I could PVP properly for once.
I turned the PC on Friday, went away for this weekend and ...

No changes were made to the system and I have only ever used windows 800x640 mode.
Are there any nvideo logs I could inspect? I am using WXP/SP3.
