Quite right - thanks - so I've done them all. Problem was I picked the first and only time the site is working in super sloooooow motion.

I am having problems getting my "one" to select the correct input on my amp. On the touch screen it has "input game/tv" but when I press help the "one" goes through all "game" settings but not a "input game/tv". I have gone throught the help section on my laptop and tried to fix problem but it still won't work. It suggested re sending the remote to the one which I did but still no luck. I have ...

A pleasure, as you have a good attitude about these things. Let's have full details of the activity that's going wrong - what is listed at Review Settings for the start of the activity?

Ok, here goes; Thomson SKY Thomson SKY is on Pioneer TV Pioneer TV is on Onkyo 607 Onkyo 607 is on Other All other devices are off Thomson SKY Thomson SKY is set to tuner Pioneer TV Pioneer TV set to "Input 1" Onkyo 607 Onkyo 607 set to "input game/tv" This all seems correct. It is just something to do with...

Medz I'm not entirely convinced that the Onkyo 607 database is 100%, I've got the same amp and the inputs were not correct, due to me fiddling about when setting up, my SkyHD is acctually on the Input 5 on the Amp (which may well be the game input?) and on the Harmony One, the command is acctually "Input2" for that channel. Also other little things, if I press "Menu" on the Harmony One,...

I set up Onkyo 607 and it doesn't have an InputGame/TV command, so exactly what model do you have yours set up as? This one does have those "zones" commands that Oakmere's has.

Oakmere replied 6 months, 1 week ago
Looking on the PDF, the "GAME" input on the Onkyo 607 is input #4. I would hazard a guess, that seems as the Harmony One thinks input #5 on the amp is acctually Input2 on the remote, that perhaps the input you acctually need is Input1 ? I can't remember now, but are the input options DVD/BD VCR/DVD CBL/SAT INPUT 1 INPUT 2 ? If they are, I'd say try Input 1.

Just to say that the IR2BT wasn't knackered, the guy updated all existing units and new units were fixed before being sold. The IR2BT, if it has had the updated firmware, continues to work flawlessly.
