Just noticed that a new version of the software is out (7.6.0) seems like it's mostly just support for Windows 7, so i'm not going to rush to install it. In the meantime, i've just setup my tower-fan...... works an absolute charm! :d Really impressed so far.. it's child's play to setup and customise.

logiciel replied 6 months, 1 week ago
You're right - there's nothing new in 7.6.0. And I'll remember how easy it's been for you the next time someone complains how difficult the Harmony setup is.

pooper replied 6 months, 1 week ago
Haha ok One weird thing that I noticed... When i logged back onto my account, I guessed my login details, and it let me in.. so i figured I guessed them correctly... so i proceeded to setup my tower fan (yes, it even had that in its database!). Once that was all setup, I went back to the main 'activities' screen..... to find nothing there! Took me a while to figure out what was going ...

I bought myself the Harmony 1000 (which my wife then paid me back for, because she loved its simplicity), but it had a dodgy volume down button on it, I really had to lean on it to lower the volume. Anyway, I got in touch with Logitech support, who are going to replace the unit free-of-charge. Bearing in mind that the Harmony 1000 cost me £200, they are replacing it with a Harmony 1100 (at £...

I thought the same about the colour until I got the 1100 - now it's far more stylish, matching modern TVs - you're very lucky getting that Logi offer! I didn't know about the swapped up/down keys - stupid thing to do though.

I'm getting annoyed trying to get the Xbox to properly shutdown and power up! It seems to work 10% of the time... the other 90% of the time, I have to use "Help / power off" to fix it. So it obviously 'can' power it no problems... hmmmmmmmm :S

Just got to say how much im loving this remote. Can’t believe how much better than the 1000 it is. For a start the 1100 is so much faster to update, before i was waiting a good minute for the 1000 to upload all the changes I’d made and then reboot, now it takes literally 30 seconds! Its not just the update times that are quicker, the response times between the remote screens are much improved with no sign of delays. Top Marks Logitech...

I got it nailed in the end. Set the delay long enough after the first few HDMI output cycles when it goes into "Please Wait" mode to then set it to the one I need for the TV. (HDMI 2 > HDMI All > DELAY > HDMI ALL > HDMI 1) Regarding the screen getting in the way going from projector to TV viewing, after much persuasion I got the Harmony to raw learn the screen up control (ignoring the 12v trigger)...

@Algoz: If you're having issues with your 1000, try a fully firmware overwrite update. In order to do that, start your remote up in 'safe mode' by removing the bettery, then holding the power button while you reinsert the battery and the screen says 'safe mode' or 'safe mode activated'. Then connect it via USB to your PC as normal, and perform a firmware update. This will ensure that all the firmware in the...

They are about the best out there for that kind of thing, unheard of these days really.
