Thread: Logic Studio 9 + Waves Compatibility?

Started 4 months, 2 weeks ago by rikxta
Hi, Please can someone help....is anyone using any of the Waves V6 plug ins with the new Logic Studio 9? I am upgrading due to my original studio breaking down, but Waves informed me that only Logic Version 8.0.2 supports Waves V6! Is this true or is anyone successfully using Waves V6 with Logic Studio 9? I'd love to hear peoples experiences with this if there are any!

Waves Platinum is working fine for me in Logic Pro 9. I expect that what Waves mean is that they haven't tested it in Logic Pro 9 yet.

Thanks to everyone that helped me out on this. Waves have got back to me again now essentially saying that there is no technical support for Waves on Logic 9 yet, but it is coming soon....they also said that according to their customers Waves is running fine on Logic 9 and have not heard of any problems so far! Sets my mind at rest as I was worried I wouldn't be able to use them anymore........

I just upgraged to Logic 9 and Waves 7 -- all working perfectly under Snow Leopard. Same with my T-Racks - wish I could say the same for my Liquid Mix -- its stuck in OSX 10.5
