Haha. Nope. Went in to get one today but they said I could use an o2 open code on an iphone 3gs Gutted.

There is no minimum funding requirement on the Halifax URCA, so you can just fund the account and pay your fee. From 6th December you'll get a £5 Reward (rebate) if you fund that account with £1,000 - effectively cutting the cost to £7.50 a month. Make sure the mobile phone cover gives you the protection you need though. Most household insurance policies will insure a phone and calls to a certain point. The Halifax URCA doesn't...
