Thread: Lifting advice please

About 12 months ago I was fortunate to purchase a very nice 94 300 TDI Truck Cab. Since aquiring my pride and joy, I've painted the chassis, given it a service, fitted one or two cosmetic bits, ie A bar, light guards and Wipacs, chequer plated the rear tub and fitted an ally steering guard. My next jobs are to fit front and rear diff guards, a genuine Safari snorkel and fit a set of BFG 265/...

to be fair, you shouldnt need it for laning i wouldnt have thought the 90 will cope with that even with road tyres you only really need 2'' lift when you are doing serious stuff! cheers

Just go with the standard set up ,a lift is not needed for greenlaning its only if you are doing more serious stuff ,save your money for something else

standard suspension is extremly capable, even the old leafers

I have a 2" lift and MT tyres on my 90 and I have got stuck on some tracks where a standard 90 on AT's has breezed through It's more to do with driver ability that what bling...
