About 12 months ago I was fortunate to purchase a very nice 94 300 TDI Truck Cab. Since aquiring my pride and joy, I've painted the chassis, given it a service, fitted one or two cosmetic bits, ie A bar, light guards and Wipacs, chequer plated the rear tub and fitted an ally steering guard. Just go with the standard set up ,a lift is not needed for greenlaning its only if you are doing more serious stuff ,save your money for something else

standard suspension is extremly capable, even the old leafers
