Before I buy any travel books, I always go to the travel section of the
library and check out the travel books, I find a book that would suit my
needs. Then right before I go, I buy the book I like or check out the book
I like the best, to take with me.
Does anyone else go to the library and check out travel books?
Ken,
I always check our local Library first. Ours does not have a huge selection
but they have some of the basics for some of the more popular areas and
countries. Sometimes they don't always have the latest year one or it is
out but many times I can get something I am looking for.

city and book our first and last night hotel stays. Then my husband would
review the travel book on the plane and decide what he wanted to see while
we were there. It's going to be a little different from now on with a full
week in a location, but I'm sure those travel books will be just as useful
now.

Thank you so much for the information. I am loving this site more and more
each day. I never thought about ordering a used book from Amazon. After
reading your message, I ordered a book on Sedona for my upcoming trip. I
can't wait until it arrives. Prior to today, most of my research about
places I travel to has been online and through travel magazines and
brochures. I also do a lot of writing to...
