Thread: Lets start a Roll Call

( we tried this once before and thought it was worth a shot to try again. bcmets normally does roll calls periodically and they do alot to help motivate and keep the fight up in some that get down and out. I thought this could help keep the spirits up here in the face of adversity! I'll be more than happy to start. If you somehow date your roll call it might help others keep in ...

( What a great idea. Definitely helps to see so many ladies doing well. 5-1-08: Mets to the bone, mainly 4 or 5 spots on the spine. Treatment with Zeloda and Aromasin. Chemo will follow when the heart recuperates enough from damage done by Taxol - chemo mentioned was Xeloda. , )

( Diagosed 5/14/07. Scans done after first chemo showed multiple mets to liver, 6 to spine and 2 to hips. 4 dd A/C tx, followed by right modified radical mastectomy, followed by 2 more A/C. Scans showed liver mets shrinking, bones stable. 6 tx Taxol/Herceptin. Scans Dec. 23 after 4th tx showed some bone healing, liver stable. Finished 2 more Taxol, continued Herceptin. Next set of ...

( Sue dx 10/30/07 with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in one breast; found out a week later about two small liver mets \(8mm and 6mm\). Good idea, LuAnn! I remember doing this a while back and, you're right, it's very encouraging (just what I need right now!). So, here goes: Diagnosed July 2006 with bc and mets to bone from the get-go 3 months of the 'red devil' (still don't know what it's called and can't be bothered to find out!) - led to progression 4 months of taxotere and xeloda - mets stable and have been ever since...

Jennifer What is transfer factor? I know alot of people including myself who have had rads for mets. I had 33 when I was stage 2b and had 14 more on my spine for mets pain. I laready take 1600 mg calcium and 1000 vit d. I also take a multi vitamin, green tea caps, cq10, glucosamine/chondroitin, cranberry caps and then of course my meds. LOL.
