Thread: Leeland anyone?

Started 2 months, 4 weeks ago by lilmikey
You all know my absolute hatred and disdain for CCM but I have to say that I am liking Leeland. They remind me of Keith Green as far as passion goes good lyrics, meaningful and deep! The first song I heard was one our pastor sang before preaching on Maphiboshepf(sp?) Carried to the Table. Anyone else a fan?

I first heard Leeland when they toured with Third Day. The song you mention is from Sound of Melodies which I purchased shortly after the concert. They have released 2 more CDs, Opposite Way & Love Is On The Move . I think they will be around for a long time to come. CCM magazine named their latest CD as one of the top 10 albums of 2009. http://www.ccmmagazine.com/news/...

Wow check it out. Mikey likes this. Leeland is very good. Tears of the Saints is my favorite song of theres. I was disappointed not to see Leeland when Third Day came my way.

Leeland is good stuff... Another band I recently found out about was Seabird. They were touring with DCB. My wife didn't like them... and to be honest, they really didn't fit in a DCB crowd, but they had some great music...

First heard Leeland at a Casting Crowns concert! Bought "The Opposite Way" at the concert. I just got "Love is on the Move" after having listened to it for several weeks on JesusFreakHideout.com. VERY GOOD STUFF!

Like 3D NC fan, I first heard them when they were touring with Third Day. After that I couldn't help but get some of their music. Great band! They've got a few music videos out as well I think. Glad you found some CCM you like lilmikey.
