Thread: Le Mans

I will be going to watch the Le Man bike racing this year as it will be just down the road the road from were i'm working at the mo. Anyone else going or got any good tips, recommend any good places to stay good roads to ride in the area? I am wondering if I should just camp at the circuit heard it can be lively so could be fun or stop at a B&B?

Only been once, and camped in the middle of the circuit. Some good parties to be had camping, and some nice roads about too

definetley stay at the circuit as it is a real buzz there

Sounds like it best to soak up the atmosphere at the track then. R6Grummy Yep last min thing got offered a secondment for 6 months with my company to work in Paris, hard to turn down. Shame its not in the summer but will get my bike over here in March I guess when the weather is better. Should be able to do circuit carole a few times (its free or very cheap at weekends) try out some local ...

Sounds like it best to soak up the atmosphere at the track then. R6Grummy Yep last min thing got offered a secondment for 6 months with my company to work in Paris, hard to turn down. Shame its not in the summer but will get my bike over here in March I guess when the weather is better. Should be able to do circuit carole a few times (its free or very cheap at weekends) try out some local roads and head to le man for the 24hr bike racing...
