The Mist The first time I've seen it. I watched the B&W version and it was fucking amazing. I'm still thinking about it three days later.

This past weekend, The Dirty Dozen HD-DVD, and Monster House BD. Both great presentations. Edit: forgot, Iron Man BD as well.

Christmas Vacation for the second time in as many weeks. Not a real exciting HD presentation. Picked it up last year when Blockbuster had their $5 used sale.

The timeless Holiday classic Audtion . Probably doesn't say much about me that I find nothing shocking or cringe-worthy about the ending. I've always loved the movie & think it holds up very well. PQ isn't that great on the Blu but I'm sure its the best the film has ever looked.

Miracle on 34th Street . This is the original 1940's classic, and it holds up as well today as it surely did then. A true holiday masterpiece. I Love You, Man . Decent movie - moderately entertaining. Some good laughs and it was a sweet romantic comedy essentially. With straight dudes. Confessions of a Shopaholic . Also a decent movie that was moderately entertaining. It had the benefit of the gorgeous, funny, and charming Isla Fisher...

Ghost in the Shell 2.0 - Pretty cool anime, but the new 2.0 effects looked terrible. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - Looks decent on HD, never gets old.

My daughters and I watched Nim's Island this morning. They enjoyed it. The PQ and AQ were great.
