What is the difference between laptops and notebooks. We were looking at buying something for our kids but we were wondering which to buy?

There just seems like there is so many names out there this year we were wondering what the difference was between them all? That is why I put the question out there. Laptop, notebook, netbook, and the like items.

If u are looking for a laptop for your childrens then buy a netbook. There are several brands for netbook like, ASUS, Acer, etc.
