And never the same thing. It can be your PC, the TV or just what you see when playing internet video. What I think will be interesting is how people will pay or how much they will pay for tech support on this one. That is, this issue is not unknown but the cures are all over the map and not repeating.

It's very possible your machine just doesn't have enough processing power to drive an HDTV. I'd try a different, preferably better, computer, and see if the same thing happened. I doubt it's the cable, but you could try a different one of them too. I've hooked my custom built desktop to an HDTV (1080p) before over a VGA cable without any problems. It worked great. Try another media player. Maybe you player is to slow, some other player use lees memory space and have beather algorithms for decoding.
