I have an I-485 pending at the National Benefits Center (or whatever it's called), so I suppose I'm waiting for an interview.
But I got laid off yesterday. I have an interview within the company on Monday for a new position, which I'm 50/50 on.
Need some advice.

Ben, I suggest you contact the folks you are interested in, directly. The few I've been in touch with would not resond to your request as worded.
Do you have an EAD/Employment Authorization Document? The application number is I-765 and you would have sent it in with your I-485.
Did you also apply for Advance Parole, the travel document?

The latest is this: I have one definite job offer, and another interview next Monday in Chicago (for a job which I'd prefer). So I think we're going to be okay. Fingers crossed.

It might make things easier, but you shouldn't just do nothing, immigration-wise. The job has changed and that is important. Consult with your own attorney or with the company's immigration attorney.
