It is time that the left stop demanding Obama fix every world problem in his first year as president. We are looking like a bunch of spoiled children. Do you really think he can do all of this CHANGE so soon? Do you have any idea what hurdles he has to get over with this bought of Congress, right wing radio, and Fox News?
Barack Obama was not elected dictator. He does not have the ...
We owe the Left a debt of gratitude. Without them the mainstream centrist Democrats would have negotiated away just about everything in a vain attempt to please the Republicans. The current Democratic party vis-à-vis the Rethugs is like a big dog who is still terrified of the cat that intimidated him when he was a puppy.
As for Mr. Obama, he might benefit from a study of TR, FDR, and ...

I think a big part of this has to do with the makeup of our political landscape. The republicans did such a fine job of committing political malpractice during the "W" era that they are left with no 'moderates'. Where their moderates used to sit now sit ours - Democrats in moderate, red, purple districts that are trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing and how to vote. They're also worrying about...
Pretty weak, too. Cheney would have used "mushroom cloud". Obama boosters should start putting SUPPORT OUR TROOPS bumperstickers on to shame the Liberals who don't support his Afghanistan Surge.

and to make the pile higher: Quote: President Barack Obama instructed Justice Department attorneys to argue last week in San Francisco before Federal District Judge Vaughn Walker, that he must toss out the Electronic Frontier Foundation's Shubert v. Bush lawsuit challenging the secret state's driftnet surveillance of Americans' electronic communications. This latest move by the administration follows a pattern replicated...

The remaining three and a half years will be spent continually bitching an tearing apart the effort. This is a presumptuously exaggerated criticism. Those of us who are willing to part the veil and see what Obama is really about didn't expect President Rhetoric to do everything we'd like him to do during the first six months....

Wondering if I'm going to have to replace my digital SLR's body pre-TLG-appearance. It's acting up. It's old. I lack patience to try to fix.
