Dunhill is always a quality cigar. They can be pretty pricey though. Macanudo is also good and it is a little cheaper.

If you really want the good stuff, you can always track down some cubans. I always keep a box of Cuban Cohibas at my house for special occassions. I used to have a number of a guy in Vegas who would hook me up. Not sure if I have it still or not, but I will take a look if you are interested.

I usually use J R Cigars dot com. They have pretty good prices on Punch Gran Puros (around $3/stick, shipped). They have more and less expensive ones as well. Some of their daily specials are really good too. A friend of mine prefers Thompson Cigar Co. The Rocky Patel series they carry is affordable and tasty. Good luck...

Its pretty standard, but make sure you get something decent from a reputable dealer. I bought one on ebay once that looked nice and it was crap. My friend used to get Cubans from some online Dutch company. They would ship him the cigars, then the bands like a week or two later. He never had a problem that I heard of. I will hit him up for the info this week.

ive used JR'S but you should also try thompsoncigar.com. they have good prices on humidors and sampler packs. unless he has a favorite smoke i would get a sampler of several different for him to try. also, i would buy it asap, season it and load it up. that way by christmas they will be gtg. i never smoke a cigar that hasnt cured in my humidor for atleast 2 months.

Check out Cigar International, they have a monthly cigar sampler that gets mailed to you every month. In that sampler is a different variety of top notch cigars and after a few months you will develop you're own liking on style, size, shape, and wrapper preferences. My favorite so far is the Rocky Patel Decade. Good luck.
