Thread: LS1 injectors/LS2 Fuel Rail/FAST90

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by JoeMama's GTO
I am trying to install a FAST 90 on an LS2 but I went with 42lb/hr FAST green top injectors that are made to fit the LS1 mani a while a go. After doing some searching on here it is not entirely clear as to what o-rings I will need to make this work. However, it seems as though LS1 o-rings are correct. Don't know for sure about the o-rings. The bottom ones should be fine. Was thinking you need a fatter o-ring for the LS2 fuel rail. Also, do you already have the electrical connector adapters? Those are different too.

Sorry I should have wrote that up better, I am currently running the green tops in a LS2 fuel rail. So I have the electrical adapters and they fit on the fuel rail side. I am concerned about the intake side for the rings because they currently fit an LS2 mani.

I got the LS1/LS2 conversion kit from Katech, and the wiring adapters from FAST. -P

Gotcha, then you just need LS1 o-rings for the manifold side of the injectors.

I don't remember how many valley bolts you need, I'm thinking maybe 10 also, but if you don't change them all out, you'll crack the lower manifold because there is not enough clearance with the stock bolts. If you are missing one, a good hardware store might carry something similar.
