Thread: LEVEMIR BEING PULLED OFF DECEMBER 1ST

Started 4 weeks ago by Anonymous
I watch the postings continually come up regarding the possiblility of dropping Levemir from our bag of products. This announcement will be made December 1st. Don't believe me? Just wait and see. First time you are hearing this?? Where have you been? Pull your head out. Levemir is a loser product that should have never come to market. It will be pulled for a number of reasons . . . 1st ...

oh dear lord let this be true!!!!!! think of how great our job would be with just novo and mix!! and, well, maybe lira ha

Shut the fuck up. You know for a fact that this isn't true. The S-A lawsuit is a bag of crap, as well. Go fuck yourself.

The S-A lawsuit may or may not be a bag of crap but there are definitely strong undercurrents that confirm this from legal. Physicians are getting very tired of the insinuations of Lantus and cancer and it may end up being a backlash against our company and our product. I suggest refocus on efficacy and Novo's commitment to diabetes and let the cancer issue go.

But Levemir has no efficacy that's part of the problem..

Anyone who believes Levemir is coming out of our bags is stupid. This company had not invested the money in Levemir to pull it after 3 years. Also when Lira launches and it will launch there is no guarantee it will be a blockbuster due to LAR launching soon thereafter. Novo will keep both drugs to make the $$$'s because either one by itself will not be a blockbuster. Just my thoughts

i don't think that levemir is going to be dropped. not with NL patent expireing soon. we were told are our quartly meeting that leve sales are up 33 percent. and that that LM will be the focus for next quarter. you can not focus on sales if you drop the product.

Anonymous replied 3 weeks, 5 days ago
Of course Levemir will not be dropped. When you have invested so much money and prestige in a joke like Levemir, the only thing you can do is hold on to it.
