Greed wins unless greed is addressed in the mainstream.Greed is not good greed is a profound weakness.

While I support the public option, in all fairness, We were going to have to pay for National Health Care in one way or another. It's not magic wellness pills that grow on the happy tree, If the government foots the costs for National health care, guess who ends up with the bill when it's all said and done. Not that it's a bad thing. I honestly would rather pay higher taxes and KNOW I'm ...

There will always be the issue that certain procedures are very very expensive, and providing 100% coverage to all americans is NOT a feasable option. There is simply no way to pay for it (though nowadays, who knows who'll throw money at it and bankrupt us).

Medicare for all who wants in! Forget about the stupid public option bill!

What's stopping people from starting and running insurance companies like a credit union? There's no reason every insurance company needs to value profit over solidarity, that's up to its owners.

I voted with my dollars, I gave Ron Paul and Kucinich each a few hundred bucks.

Doctors get $0.10 on every $1.00 charged to medicare. Doctors will be shutting down their offices left and right. Just pointing out what most are too blind to see because all they care about is getting something for free.

Sadly, I would rather have 95% coverage for government run health care, than the supposed 75% coverage currently offered by private health care. I pay out the ass every month for health care through my employer. I don't have dental, Eye care is only covered once every two years (when a prescription only lasts for one year, try ordering 1800contacts without an up to date prescription), and ...

You guys seriously don't read do you? I SUPPORT a National Health Care system. I am deriding anyone who thinks that means "FREE HEALTH CARE". It's going to cost a ton of money. It's a good trade off, but this nonsense about not having to pay for the Public option has got to stop.

No matter which one you voted for, the end result would be just as bad. What people just don't get is that the whole election process is a fraud because whomever is elected is only a puppet for the rich bastards who are really running the show hidden out of the publics sight.

I take it you are talking about the concept of a corporation? That it is a fictitious person, and the fictitious person is what's responsible for the actions of the entity and not the people that run it?

Your claim that this is the result of corporations not have enough risk may be true but that doesn't diminish the role the government had/has in regulating health insurance and care.

It's LESS expensive when indigent people get preventive care, rather than cycling constantly through emergency rooms. It's LESS expensive when you don't pay middlemen who add nothing to the equation.
