Yup, Its BS especially considering these predictions were pre-recession. Also, Mexico, Nigeria and Russia's economies all depend on oil, a resource that will practically be depleted by 2050.

GDP per capita does not means wealth SK's goods' price is extremely high. The wage that is paid in SK does not have the ability to buy the same amount of good as the Americans even though their GDP per capita is relatively equal. GDP is a statics that used for a country to compare to themselves today to their past, not really for compare to other countries.

GDP per capita does not means wealth SK's goods' price is extremely high.
