Gotta register for a set - she wants German - Henkels or Wusthof, but I'm in love with Hattori HD's - anyone have experience with the Hattori's or havew a particular line they're really impressed by?

My ex worked at a cutlery place. we got a lot of knives. I grew up with henkels, but got to like the wustofs more. She demanded the Wustofs in the separation agreement. jerk.
Used the hattori, i saw very little difference in performance. they look dirty, too.

Looks like I lost - the German steel is warranteed to the hilt, like forever, against anything, the Hattori's have no warranty at all. Eff-it, I'm buying a few for myself anyway.
