I have read that when Umberto of Savoya died, in his testament he wrote that he wanted to be buried with the ring or seal of the Savoya family. The ring, or seal was the symbol of the Savoy family. Is it true!!. It is in his tomb. Umberto was carried to the grave a dynasty. But his last will is not fulfilled, I think, that he is not buried in Italy..

It was partially for political reasons, and partially because Marie Jose and Bepo got along well. Alot of that, though, was MJ's mother's fault. I had never heard of any illegitimate children of King Umberto before, neither did the Italian press ever mentioned. Do you think if there were any love children of the King, wouldn't those tabs or cheap mags like Novella 2000 or Eva have been in their element? I recall they had plenty of articles about Princess Maria Beatrice and actor Maurizio Arena's scandalous relationship... Supposing that Umberto had a child out of the wedlock,...
