I know i am jumping the gun a little on this thread, but who ya got? I think calzaghe is going to miss a lot of his wild flurrys, and kesslers just going to land perfect jabs and straight right hands all day for the UD.
i'm looking forwar dvb to seeing calzaghe fight again, but as of now i think kessler is way too big, and way too young... yep i tottally agree. lets see if we can get a brit in here, so we have a little controversy
This fight will never happen. Joke Calzaghe is perfectly happy with his wins over Eubank and Lacy and his fans already think he is the best Super Mid ever, so Joe will continue to face more bums and retire undefeated. Joe's fans think that he is an all time great and they think that Jones, Hopkins, etc. have all ducked him over the years, and they don't put any of the blame on Joke C. He can ...
Calzagie is going after Taylor or Hopkins, beating Kessler will ultimately mean nothing in the USA and I really do think all this talk of him ducking big fights is getting to him a little, even though he says that they are ducking him.
Good point, Klobs. I think the dragon would be way too much for the unicorn. If the unicorn could avoid the fire breath, they might have a chance. Otherwise, it's dragon by KO and one charred unicorn.
I think we can already see the writing on the wall, Calzaghe says he's not interested in fighting Kessler who just happens to hold the other 2 Super-middleweight titles, and wants to go after two guys (Hopkins & Taylor) who aren't even contenders in that weight class. Good thinking Joe, since none of these fights are likely to ever get made, you can avoid ever fighting them and look like a ...

If it goes the distance, it might depend on whose hometown the fight takes place in. If it's near the castle, the unicorn takes the decision. If it's the near the mountain where the dragon sleeps, the dragon will take the UD.

Otherwise, it's dragon by KO and one charred unicorn. no way! the dragon's all talk. he's only defeated a few underrated ogres and some old, past-their-prime knights. the unicorn is young, fast, strong, hungry, very talented. he'll run circles around...
While I think Kessler is on the rise, I find him to be a little mechanical with his one-twos. They have good speed, but his feet do not. Joe would give Mikkel way more angles than Librado did and that alone will drop his connect rate considerably. Joe is a very versatile fighter who has dug deep to win a slugfest (Byron Mitchell) and boxed a disciplined fight against a strong puncher (Lacy). Experience and power favor Joe. Age...
