Drop your laundry, folks.
Kessler just out slicked the rugged Andrade in fine fashion. Calzaghe looked dominant against the over-matched if willing Manfredo, despite the boner stoppage.
If they were matched tomorrow, who wins this compelling battle of talented and undefeated super middleweight champs? _________________ Robin Hood, William Tell, Ivanhoe and Lancelot...they don't envy...
It would be very close. If it is in England the judges will give it to Calzaghe on points. _________________ Stick and Move,

I'm of the opinion that Calzaghe edges Kessler, and maybe even gets off the deck to do it - but a year from now may be too late. It's got to happen by September, IMO. _________________ Robin Hood, William Tell, Ivanhoe and Lancelot...they don't envy me.

If it doesn't - and there is no solid reason for it - I'm pointing fingers! _________________ Robin Hood, William Tell, Ivanhoe and Lancelot...they don't envy me.

Joe got so more in the locker and will beat Kessler if they ever fight.
Warren has offered the fight to Kessler in june/July but been turned down as Kessler is busy.
They offered £3million to Jermain Taylor and we'll have to see how that goes though it's to fight in the UK.
Joe needs to goto the US but after a 35,000 crowd in Wales and the money Warren would have made-he wants ...
Why not the US?
The premature stoppage on Saturday is a glaring example of why Kessler should not go to the UK to fight Calzaghe. He will not get a fair shake. All Calzaghe has to do is throw a volley of slapping punches (that don't even need to land) and the ref will step in.
Homefield advantage will be big in this fight because they are so evenly matched. ...
Do you really have to generalise about the whole UK like that?? It was one dodgy official. And the US has had MORE than it's fair share of those!! Manfredo was hopelessly out of his depth anyway. He just curled up into a little ball. I thought he was gonna cry at one point!! _________________ My Fight List - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BJU8AGZM
Calzaghe should win it but the point has been made that one year from now the outcome may well be less certain. If Calzaghe continues fighting hand-picked opponents his ability to perform will suffer anyway.
As a UK citizen, I could not blame Kessler for being sceptical about British officials after Saturday night's stoppage. Remember how we view Italian officiating (Laing-Oliva and the ...

Maybe, but he has some decision wins over naturally smaller fighters that I find perplexing based on that claim. _________________ Robin Hood, William Tell, Ivanhoe and Lancelot...they don't envy me. Can anyone identify the moment at which Joe Calzaghe broke a hand in the third round against Peter Manfredo because what I saw resembled an angry Mother slapping a wriggling child wherever she could land the palm of her hand? Did it occur at the end of the round when the referee, angry with himself for making such a bad call with the premature stoppage, squeezed Calzaghe's hand too tightly as he raised it in victory? Against a Kessler or...

Yeah, I don't think its fair to generalize one daft judge and say that all UK fights are cooked. I seriously doubt that this referee said "I'm gonna preserve national pride and stop this fight the first opportunity I have!" I think the ref. just got over anxious at the sound of over 35,000 fans rioting at the first sign of Joe starting to come on. If Kessler fought anywhere in the UK, other than Wales, He'd get...
I think Joe Will beat Kessler With his hand speed, I think the manfredo fight which i was at, was stopped premature however i dont think there could have been a different outcome, i would have liked it to go further but i dont think he would have lasted another round. i think the referee was wrong to stop it but you cant account for all english refs like that. im new to this forum im not sure how it works, but id like to request to buy the...
I still think Joe would win, but I read the other day that Beyer said "Kessler is by far the strongest fighter in the supermiddleweight division" _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/neutral-corner/
