Thread: Kate Mulgrew update

Kate's opinion piece on CNN about Alzheimer's was brilliantly written! She makes an undeniably persuasive case about the immediate need to begin research for a cure now. Thanks to the way Kate has championed this cause, I have seen this potentially preventable disease with new eyes. Thanks so much for keeping us updated!

I just caught up on all the "Mercy" episodes, and it looks like Kate Mulgrew was in the first two, but not in #3 or #4. #1 is available on NBC's website until Thursday 10/22, so try and catch it before it goes away. I think #2 will be available for an additional week after that. In the previews for this week's episode, it looks like she may be in it, I thought I caught a glimpse of her. Loved seeing Kate last night on Mercy. (just love the show!!) Great to see her and her "husband" together. They're Funny!

Does anybody know why Kate left RH? I'm sure the question has been asked before but I don't know. I'm sure our newer members and lurkers would like to know too.

I remember there being rumors when Mary was pregnant with Ryan that Kate was pregnant herself (and was, horror of horrors for the time, unmarried) so she was temporarily replaced when she gave birth, and then had to do the birthing bit all over for Ryan's arrival.
