In a perfect world, the pure ones would fight just as good as the crosses... but we all know that ain't usually the case. There are exceptions, Mr. Madigan stated that his Clarets were better pure than crossed, with few exceptions. I have some families that would be weapon specific... meaning that, bred pure, they would be better in certain weapons... thats where crossing comes in... example, my Clarets are more suited for the Gaff bred...

Raising birds in the U.S. is much much easier and predictable. In PI, the weather, diseases, personnel, etc. are just unpredictable that can affect the production of birds. Recently, the flooding upset the birds and breeding that everything is on a delayed mode. I cannot rely on PI breeding and production alone.
