Has anyone been summoned to jury duty before? I have to go this Tuesday and I've been constantly worrying about it for 2 weeks. I feel like I'm too young to do this even though I'm considered an adult. I'm mostly worried about voir dire, when the attorneys ask the potential jurors (me) questions. I'm horrible at being put on the spot, my mind just goes blank and I end up saying something ...
it's boring as ****. I have social phobia and it was fine, basically it's just like "raise your hand if you or anyone you know has sued for personal injury" "raise your hand if you or your immediate family has caused a car accident" or whatever else is relevant, and then if you pass that, they'll interview you. but they aren't grilling you like in some sort of law tv show, don't worry. it's ...
I've been summoned before but I got out of it because students (high school and college) are exempt from going.
Edit: But I think you'll be fine. It'll be boring but there's a huge chance that you probably won't be chosen for the trial. Good luck though!
My mom was supposed to go last week but then they told her she didn't have to. All the times she's gone, she just basically waited for a long time and then got dismissed. A lot of people just get let go. But I don't know what happens if they actually choose you. I'm sure it's not that bad though.

In Jury duty serving my country. Not like Call of Duty but similar. Hm. Maybe there should be a "Jury Duty" video game. It would be awesome.
