I feel like I'm too young to do this even though I'm considered an adult. I'm mostly worried about voir dire, when the attorneys ask the potential jurors (me) questions. I've been summoned before but I got out of it because students (high school and college) are exempt from going. Edit: But I think you'll be fine. It'll be boring but there's a huge chance that you probably won't be chosen for the trial. Good luck though!

My mom was supposed to go last week but then they told her she didn't have to. All the times she's gone, she just basically waited for a long time and then got dismissed. A lot of people just get let go. But I don't know what happens if they actually choose you. I'm sure it's not that bad though.

You have to be 19+ to serve jury duty in Canada. I haven't been selected, yet

my bf was summoned for jury duty, but because we have a baby under 6 years old, he got out of it.
