Hi there, you are right about the painting style. Although the clouds or many of the picture elements were photo-references wich were overdrawn and filtered, i decided to keep the painterly-look for now. May there will be a matte painting from this image later, but now i don't have the time to finish two paintings and i love the painter-style so i will not submit this to the challenge... Hi! Welcome to the forums and the challenge. This is great work here well painted. Though this is a very good work, it still looks very painterlly. Mattepaintings usually are much more geared to photorealism than painter like. Maybe a little more work on the realism will make this top notch!
