I'm sure there's enough Buffy/Angel/Firefly fans out there who'll be interested in Joss' new show called Dollhouse. Here's the trailer which a work-mate sent me earlier

Looks like it has some potential. Can never say no to some more Eliza Dushku on our box. Also, Katya from Neighbours
What do you reckon? 8 episodes before it gets canned?
Whedon is one of the best show runners around though, so I'm expecting nothing short of brilliance from the series. Then again FireFly was majestic and look how that got shafted.
It was a great idea, but from the clip I didnt see much to get excited about. Lets not forget the criminal canning of Angel for some other vampire show they were going to make but that was canned to, so all for naught! stupid tv peepl
Yeah i had almost given up on this but then I watched episode 6 and thought it was amazing.
Its odd that an episode can completely reinvent a show thats only 6 episodes old but thats exactly what it did, hopefuly this means the show will be more like Wheadons original vision from now on and less of what fox eventualy forced him to shoot.
I've watched the first two episode and thought it was absolute rubbish -
can I safely skip to #6 or would I need to suffer 3 more for it to make
sense?

There are only a few things that you need to know § Echo and co seem to be more aware than we at first belived and ...
Thanks for the info, will give six a go then.
Watched this recorded off of American TV and they had Faith doing an advert along side the female Terminator, both acting all hot and saying stuff like "why not spend the evening with us handsome" - I faced palmed with one hand and....

It gives an idea of where the show is headed giving the most of the episodes more of a focus.
Dazzy didn't say it was like Quantum Leap, he said it reminded him of a Quantum leap style series, and I would agree - it's like an inside-out Quantum Leap, with the same vessel each week being inhabited by a different person (Quantum Leap was a different vessel each week being inhabited by the same person), so it's not much of a stretch to see the comparison

Yeah decent ending i thought with some nice surprises. Hope it gets picked up for a second series, because i would trust Whedon to add some really nice story arcs in there. Last edited by Marmite : 14-05-2009 at 12:01 PM .
