Yes. Everybody else did. Like you said "Every actor has to wear at least some makeup and a costume of some sort." and that's pretty much the exact point I made. This is a horrible display of white people trying to get funky without proper supervision.

I mean he's only great when he's wearing TONS AND TONS of makeup like in Sweeney Todd and/or out-of-place-in-the-modern-world clothes like in PotC

romantic comedy sucks. I wish he'd do a comedy though.

The Brave,Dead Man, Donnie Brasco, The Libertine, Gilbert Grape, Arizona Dream, Finding Neverland, From Hell, Fear and Loathing, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Blow, Chocolat, Benny and Joon, Ed Wood, Public Enemies. Wasn't 'hiding' behind too much costume and make up all great performances. Perhaps the OP just has limited knowledge of Depps work.

I don't think so. They don't let actors on camera without some make-up (I don't think) and unless it's a nude scene they're always in some sort of costume.
