Probably the worst economical news in my time. 9/11 being right up there.
Is this political or economical? economical imo. Regardless of how you slice it, this is bad news. If I were at the helm, it would be my baby, no excuses, no more bs. Change? I guess you could call it that.

It just keeps getting worse. All the gov. seems to care about is that stupid health care plan. I personally don't know anybody who cares more healthcare than they do about getting a job

Better to be healthy and unemployed than sick and unemployed I suppose
Actual unemployment rate is closer to 17.5 %, they do not count people that took part time jobs and people that just stopped working...they hid that little bit of data in the fine print of the report...
Change......some asked for it and got it.....WHILE WE ALL GOT IT SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS...

Absolutly, who wants to go dumpster diving for dinner when not feeling well.
And the people that have stopped getting unemployment benefits. Once you are off the books they consider you employed.

10% has to be way underestimated.
The commercial/industrial vacancy rate in Ontario has to be 30% or higher.
There are zero lines and waits at the restaurants and eateries.
Grim outlook in a few articles, the jobs may never come back.
UNLESS we start buying American again.

The three stooges HusseinO/Pelosi/Reid promised the insane spending of the stimulus money would save and/or create more jobs than would be lost. Surely they didn't miscalculate or simply lie, did they???????? Heaven knows, their constituency already received handsome payments for their political support as we have already seen. I wonder why unemployment is rising so quickly? Could it be part of their grand scheme?
